- So I looking to buy a 28.8 modem and I have narrowed it
- down to either the Supra 28.8 FaxModem or the USR V.34.
- They both seem about the same price and neither one seems
- to far beyond the other in benchmarks and ratings.
-
- I've used Supras for years with good results, but I
- was curious if anyone who has owned either of these
- knows of any reasons to buy or not buy either one..
-
- And while I'm at it, why does USR have a different model
- for "mac" and "pc" machines? Are they actually different
- hardware..or just different cases?
