  14. So I looking to buy a 28.8 modem and I have narrowed it
  15. down to either the Supra 28.8 FaxModem or the USR V.34.
  16. They both seem about the same price and neither one seems
  17. to far beyond the other in benchmarks and ratings.
  18.  
  19. I've used Supras for years with good results, but I
  20. was curious if anyone who has owned either of these
  21. knows of any reasons to buy or not buy either one..
  22.  
  23. And while I'm at it, why does USR have a different model
  24. for "mac" and "pc" machines? Are they actually different
  25. hardware..or just different cases?
